Although LB Arwana Satu specialty is in shallow water pipe laying, she can be tailored and modified to perform beyond her current constraint.
Methodology - Articulated Stinger Instead of using the standard outrigger stinger, an articulated stinger one will be fabricated in order to improve her capability to operate at deeper water depth. Methodology – Bow String and Buoyancy Pipelay work could also be done using surface tow method which eliminate the constraint of water depth, and hence capable of laying pipeline of maximum 1.5 km length at any water depth.
