Management Team

Mohamad Azmadi Fadzil

Managing Director 

Founder of Sigur Ros. He obtained his degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anan National College of Technology, Tokushima, Japan in 1995. Started his career as a Mechanical Engineer with FE Magnet Wire Sdn Bhd, a Japanese-owned copper wire manufacturing company. In 1997, he marked his entry into the oil and gas industry as a Project Engineer with Oakwell Industries. In 1998 he moved on to Pipetronix Sdn Bhd as a Project Engineer. Pipetronix is a locally incorporated German company providing pre-commissioning and pipeline inspection services. He was involved in projects in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar and Malaysia. In 2001, with the experience and understanding of the industry and for greater challenges, he formed Sigur Ros Sdn Bhd. He is the Managing Director of the company.

Khairul Imran Che Man

Executive Director/Strategic Planning

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering (1993) from University of Technology Malaysia, Khairul started his career with the national oil company, PETRONAS as a Project Engineer in the Upstream Project Division. This division handles onshore fabrication, platform installation, hook-up and commissioning and platform start-up. In 1999 he was the Senior HUC Engineer handling Semarang field development project. He joined TL Offshore Sdn Bhd as the Head of Offshore Construction in 2000 and was involved in projects for ExxonMobil, Shell and Petronas Carigali. In 2005 he joined Sigur Ros as Executive Director. 

Zonkifle Mustafa

Chief Operating Officer

Started his offshore career in 1979 as a Drilling Supervisor at Exxon. Was involved in drilling and workover activities on Tapis, Pulai, Irong Barat, Bekok, Guntong and Semangkok fields. In 1989 joined Pipetronix Sdn Bhd as Managing Director and was involved in various pre-commissioning and pipeline inspection (intelligent pigging) projects in India, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Malaysia. He was also a board member of Fabrikom Sdn Bhd, an oil and gas trading company specializing in the supply of structural steel and pipe fittings. Joined Sigur Ros in 2007 as the COO. He holds a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering from University of Technology Malaysia (1979) and Engineering Degree in Mining Engineering (1983) from Camborne School of Mines, University of Exeter, United Kingdom. 

Amir Zohri Abdul Rahim

Project Director

A graduate in mechanical engineering (1980) from University College London. Amir has over 28 years working experience in various upstream and downstream activities for the oil & gas industry. Upon graduation as a mechanical engineer, he began his career as an operations engineer at Esso Malaysia Berhad, a downstream company involved in lubricant & grease manufacturing, refining, storage & distribution of refined products and LPG. In 1986 he was transferred to Esso Production Malaysia Inc as an offshore construction supervisor for retrofit, fabrication, hook-up & commissioning and offshore erection activities. Thereafter he was the senior turbomachinery engineer and his last posting was as corporate senior safety & risk management engineer. In 1992 he assumed the position of General Manager at Aquatic Engineering, a company providing engineering and project management services to the upstream sector. In 1999 he joined TL Offshore, an offshore installation contractor, as the Offshore Construction Superintendent and later as the Project Manager and General Manager for Marine Operations. He was Project Director for Protank Technologies, an engineering & construction contractor for plants and terminals, in 2005. Amir later joined Sigur Ros in 2007 as Project Director.
